I know you see it, but you don’t want to hear it.  Sometimes you get the best of me and I can’t believe it… So what you gonna do when it comes down and where you gonna stand when there’s no ground… I tell you what you want to hear. You know that I’ll be waiting there…

This song gets me every time when I hear it on the radio.  I interpret it to be a reminder of how blessed I am to have an incredible support system, even when certain things seem like they aren’t in my favor.  The people who are there every step of the way are in my favor.

I’m trying to do things right by the people who’ve done so much for me.  To my family and the best friends who’ve been there all this time:  You are my motivation.  

In a lot of ways, I feel like if I don’t get that letter, email, or phone call this week, I may have let a lot of these people down and would be too embarrassed to tell them… But I know I shouldn’t feel that way.  I hope the ones who matter won’t doubt me.  I hope they will continue to remind me to trust God’s plans for me and help me become a better person in the meantime.  I hope to let them know how much they mean to me.  K shoots <3
